About Blain’s BBQ

Hey y’all! I’m Kaleb owner/pitmaster at Blain’s BBQ, located in Waco, Tx. Blain’s is a queer-led, community focused concept. My mission is to provide high quality Texas BBQ that is accessible to everyone, regardless of identity or income. I’ve spent some time behind the smoke, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the best BBQ isn’t about the most expensive cut of meat—it’s about the time, the skill, and the person you’re sharing it with. I started Blain’s BBQ with a simple goal, to use my craft as a pitmaster to serve my neighbors. By focusing on cheaper cuts like pork and chicken, I’m able to keep prices fair without ever cutting corners, every meal is a labor of love designed to feed your family without breaking your budget.

Safe Space for Every Neighbor

BBQ has always been about bringing people together, but I realized there were still folks who didn't feel like there was a seat at the table for them. At Blain’s, our doors are wide open. We are a fiercely inclusive, LGBTQ+ friendly space, where all identities are celebrated. We don’t care who you love or where you come from—if you’re hungry, you belong here. We’re building a new kind of BBQ tradition: one where the smoke is sweet, the hospitality is genuine, and everyone feels at home.
